根據國外媒體 VideoCardz 報導,在 Arcamageddon 最近的更新說明中,開發人員透露,不僅 PC 版本支援 AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution,連 PlayStation 5 版本都支援 AMD FSR。成為第一款支援 AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 的 PlayStation 5 主機遊戲,甚至在 Xbox 主機遊戲之前。
與 PlayStation 不同,SONY 從未宣布將 AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 支援加入到他們的 SDK 中。另一方面,微軟已公開確認他們的 XBOX 遊戲開發套件現在包含 AMD FSR 庫,從而讓遊戲開發人員加速開發過程。
除了 FSR,PlayStation 5 版本預設啟用 TAAU,這是虛幻引擎的反鋸齒功能。TAAU 可以更好的產生清晰影像,但在更高解析度下需要更多的運算能力。通過結合這兩種技術,Arcamageddon 開發人員找到了一種同時提高畫質和性能的方法。
