Intel 日前發表 Xeon 系列新成員:Cascade Lake advanced performance 以及 Xeon E-2100,打算將各階伺服器平台用戶穩穩留住~
新成員的表現
Cascade Lake 採用 MCP 多晶片封裝法,與 AMD 膠水大法原理相似,將兩塊 XCC 組成單個封裝,最大可達 48 核心和 96 個線程,並支援 12 個 DDR4 記憶體通道,目前資料看到最大可以組成 96 核心伺服器平台。
性能方面,Linpack up 比自家 Intel Xeon Platinum 8180 處理器快 1.21 倍,比 AMD EPYC 7601 處理器快 3.4 倍、Stream Triad 比自家 8180 快 1.83 倍,比 AMD 7601 快 1.3倍、深度學習與自家 Intel Xeon Platinum 8180 相比快了高達 17 倍,預計將於 2019 年上半年推出。
