華碩發文說明 ROG MAXIMUS Z690 FORMULA 散熱器水道出現堵塞的問題

華碩美國 Technical Product Marketing Manager - Juan Jose Guerrero 在 2023/ 2/17 於 FACEBOOK - ASUS DIY PC Group 發文公佈關於 ROG MAXIMUS Z690 FORMULA 主機板的水道堵塞問題，貼文中並沒有說明該主機板散熱器的水道設計是採用何種物料製成，僅表示在特定的使用情況下，由 ASUS 與 EK 共同開發的全新塗層有可能自行崩潰/脫落，繼而出現電流腐蝕現象，導致水道堵塞，影響散熱效能。

Developed in partnership with EK, the CrossChill VRM thermal solution on the ROG Maximus Z690 Formula uses a new electroless nickel plating. In certain configurations, this plating can break down, leading to galvanic corrosion inside the block's water channel. At present, this issue only affects the Maximus Z690 Formula.

華碩建議所有受影響的使用者立即停止使用 VRM 水冷散熱，並主動聯絡購買區域的華碩商討解決方案。現在華碩將向受影響使用者提供兩個解決方案，一是退回主機板後獲得全額退款，二是更換主機板。

華碩最後表示若一直以被動散熱方式使用該型號主機板，也就是沒有接上 VRM 水冷的部份，在這種情況下使用者將不會受上述問題影響，VRM 散熱效能維持正常。

If you’ve been affected by this issue, we recommend ceasing use of the Maximus Z690 Formula’s CrossChill III VRM solution and contacting ASUS customer support for your region. We’re doing everything we can to look after our loyal customers, so we’re currently offering a choice of two solutions to affected users: either you can return the board for a full refund or a replacement.

If you are running the MAXIMUS Z690 FORMULA EK CROSSCHILL III VRM heatsink/block passive (not part of a liquid cooling loop) it will not be affected or compromise the VRM thermal performance.

Community Announcement - ROG MAXIMUS Z690 FORMULA OWNERS service announcement.

The ROG Maximus Formula line of motherboards has a unique feature: if you run a liquid cooling loop in your system, you can include the motherboard’s CrossChill III VRM water block in your loop as an alternative to using it as an air-cooled heatsink. However, a problem has been identified on some ROG Maximus Z690 Formula motherboards — read on to see if you may have been affected, and how ASUS is dedicated to fixing the issue.

Developed in partnership with EK, the CrossChill VRM thermal solution on the ROG Maximus Z690 Formula uses a new electroless nickel plating. 至於從未接上過 VRM 水冷散熱的使用者，理應不會出現堵塞問題，如果不受本次設計問題影響，可能未能夠獲得全額退款或更換主機板的選擇。筆者認為由於該型號主機板仍然在保固期間，而且混合式散熱本來就是該主機板型號的主要功能 / 特色，所以只要使用者打算上水冷，隨時都可以上，哪怕這一年多以來還沒上過水冷。

こんばんは、UNIKOです！！EKWB 終於出RGB水泵!!!!!!，這次買到的是 EK-XRES 140 Revo D5 RGB ，屬於D5種類的水泵，反正就是潮牌加上RGB，怎麼會放過!應該是台灣首發評測XDXD

EK EK-XRES 140 Revo D5 RGB 這款水泵售價大概是在170美金，稍稍貴一點點，但是為了RGB和品牌算是可以接受，基本上都是D5為基礎效果就是和其他D5都相同，EK在細節上的做工也是相當細心的。

RGB燈顏色是相當飽滿，LED燈是水瓶下方打出來，真的不錯的效果~~~~

希望大家可以參考看看，這水泵會用在UNIKO後續的水冷改裝機裡面歐!

喜歡CASEMOD水冷改裝的朋友快來看看歐(OvO)~~~
今天為了對付8700K的高溫，UNI拿出珍藏已久的特殊水冷零件來迎戰，希望可以給大家一些資料數據參考看看!!
這次的設備台灣沒有代理，都是國外買回，不過有些還是可以在拍賣網站找到歐(>x<)p~~~
水冷零件比較容易取得的，當然就是台灣在地品牌 TT BP 這兩家，國外的話就有比較多選擇，EKWB、WATERCOOL、Aqua Computer ...
